Black Friday is a few weeks out, and a lot of folks around Temperance, Lambertville, Monroe and Toledo are already eyeing a new couch, sectional or bedroom set. The fun part is picking it out. The not-so-fun part is figuring out what to do with the old one before the delivery truck shows up.

That's where we come in. Here are a few easy ways to make room before the holidays:

Let our crew haul it. Old couches, recliners, mattresses, box springs, dressers, tables and chairs are some of the most common things we pick up. You point, we lift, load and take it to the proper disposal or recycling spot. No wrestling a sleeper sofa down the basement stairs yourself.

Go DIY with a dump trailer. If you're clearing out more than one room, our 13-yard and 18-yard dump trailers are a great fit. We drop it in your driveway, you load at your own pace, and we haul it away when you're done. Pricing starts at $275 for 2 days with 2 tons included.

Doing a bigger refresh? If the new furniture is part of a flooring swap, a basement redo or a full house cleanout, a 20-yard roll-off dumpster gives you plenty of room. It's $325 for 2 days with 3 tons included, $350 for 5 days, or $400 to $420 for 10 days, with $65 per ton over.

A few quick tips:

• Measure doorways and hallways for the new piece, and plan the old one's exit route the same way.

• Book removal a day or two before delivery so you're not juggling both at once.

• Pull out cushions, drawers and loose items first so loading goes faster.

Out with the old, in with the new, and your living room ready for company. Call or text us at 419-704-4397 to schedule a pickup or reserve a trailer or roll-off.
