Tear-out tips that save time and money

• Plan the load. Flat, heavy pieces like old cabinets and countertops go in first, then bag up the small stuff to fill the gaps.

• Break things down. Pull cabinet doors and cut carpet into rolls. You'll fit a lot more in one trip.

• Keep the path clear. Lay down cardboard from the door to the driveway to protect your floors and keep the mess outside.

• Ask before you toss. Not sure if something can go in? Just ask us before it goes in the box.
